website of St Matthew's Parish Church, Cobo.
St Matthew's Parish Church,
Cobo, is situated on the island of Guernsey, in the Castel
Parish, overlooking both Vazon and Cobo
Bay.
The church was
built just over 150 years ago, thanks to the amazing vision
of a young girl, Marianne Carey, who took pity on the Cobo
fishermen that had to walk all the way to the parish church
of Ste Marie du Castel in order to attend Church Services.
